California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) is located in Central California and has a campus enrollment of over 21,000 students. Fresno State was founded in 1911 and is the premier learning community in California’s vast San Joaquin Valley. For more than 100 years the University has invigorated and strengthened Central California. The institution is within easy driving distance of national parks, the Pacific coast and major cities such as Los Angeles, San Jose and San Francisco. Programs in Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Computer Science, Education and Engineering are offered through the university’s eight schools and colleges.
